ABOUT ANCA
I am a Canadian abstract landscape artist building layered applications of acrylic, ink, glaze and collage. For me, painting is an act of presence unfolding organically. The surfaces develop slowly allowing texture and transparency to echo the natural world while leaving space for personal interpretation. Rather than representing a fixed geography, my paintings mean to capture a feeling: the softness of distant horizons, the movement of water, the energy of shifting skies, the mystery held in stillness, an emotional space people can step into, not just another landscape.
Through this process, the result feels like a dream, a reflection, a quiet meditation in colour and light meant to be lived with quietly. Collectors often respond to the invitation to slow down, look inward, and connect through the landscape to the broader continuum of life and shared human experience.
My work is held in private collections throughout North America and Europe.
